CASAP Inaugural Launch To Hold, Nov 27

In a bid to support the Nigerian child with a focus on children in orphanage homes, an initiative called the Child Adoption and Sponsorship Awareness Project (CASAP) has been set up.
According to those behind the program, its major aim is to encourage ‘fostering of orphans amongst everyday Nigerians’.
The initiative also aims at creating awareness and rallying support for orphans, orphanages and less privileged children.
An inaugural launch to promote the cause will see visits to orphanage homes and less privileged communities around the country and starts with a visit to the Living fountain Orphanage, Plot 22 Yusuff Abiodun Way, Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos on Sunday, November 27, 2011.
In 2010, UNICEF estimated the number of orphans in Nigeria to be 8.2 Million.
