NETPod: Papi Causes ‘Fine Boy Drama’

ARENADBABY

Fresh out of the University of Port Harcourt where he studied Mass Communication and Linguistics, Papi (real name Erhuen Emmanuel Bright) says he learnt the rudiments of music, especially notation and renaissance ensemble playing under the supervision of veteran music producer/singer OJB Jezreel.
John Coltrane, R. Kelly, Tracy Chapman, Loreena McKnitt, Kanye West and Fela Kuti, Papi says he draws inspiration from people he comes across everyday. Currently working on an Ep, the pop singer recently released a second single titled ‘Fine boy drama‘.
The single is a straight up techno-themed joint. The interesting thing about the song is the blend of indigenous language on the Samklef production. Nice effort.
