Tagged ‘The Beat of Lagos’, the concert was electrifying right from the red carpet session, all the way down to the various performances. It was hard for one to keep still as different artistes kept reeling out their hit songs. The venue was quite big enough to accommodate much more than those who attended.
Top acts like 2face Idibia and Psquare thrilled the crowd with spectacular performances. So did Tiwa Savage, DavidO and oLamide. Others were the Kennis Music crew – Goldie, F.E.M.I, Essence, Jaywon, and Minjin as well as Mo’Cheddah, MayD, Solid Star, Hakym, 19th Street and others.
Comedians AY and Naija FM’s Ajebo delivered stand-up sketches in-between performances and had the crowed reeling with laughter.
It was also lovely to see the faces of the voices behind the microphones – Gbemi, Toolz, Oreka, Douglas, Jimmy, Fade, Razor, and others step on stage and also have fun.
