NETPod: ‘Back To Sender’ – Durella Ft Femi Kuti

With an album and record label behind him, Durella seems to be moving ahead with his career. A few months ago, the singer split ways with his former label and hooked up with Ikonic Records.
When we first heard Durella was recording a duet with Femi Kuti, it sounded strange but we all anticipated it’s release. Afrobeat and pop music mashed up in one song – it would either sound great or the direct opposite.
And here we have it – ‘Back to sender‘, your average Durella song but Femi Kuti’s saxophone horns add a hug effect as the track goes on. However, those expecting to hear the Afrobeat king deliver his vocals on the track will be disappointed as he leave his sax to do the talking.
